Are you saving your old toys, baby clothes and books for your own kids someday?
My parents have kept everything from when me and my sister were little and she's saving them for our kids one day. Our attic is filled to the brim with all that stuff Is it good to keep all that? Or will some of that stuff be outdated by the time we have kids?I'm 29 and my sister is 23, but who knows when we'll have kids or maybe not at all.

Baby clothes that arent to girly?
My best friend is having a girl and she's never been the real girly type. Pink, purple, polka dots are not her thing. I know she's going to have to get over it a little bit but I was wondering if anyone knew someplace where they sold clothes for baby girls that aren't as girly as usual. Either in a store or online. I find out what I'm having in four days, and I'm super eager to start buying things. My mom says wait til the baby shower and also I know they grow out of the clothes quick. I just want to buy at least a few outfits and a pair of shoes. I was wondering if like instead of buying newborn clothes what's the next appropriate age to buy for. Like instead of newborn, 3 5months maybe? On shoes I have the same question as well.

I'm 13 and I have a reborn doll and I want to get her some stuff for Christmas because I didn't get her anything yet. How to hand wash baby cloth nappies & baby clothes?
I have a washing machine but i'm not planning to wash the baby's clothes there, instead i want to hand wash both baby clothes and the birdseyes cotton nappies. For washing the baby clothes I just decided to use Ultra Purex Baby Laundry detergent and rinse with savlon...do i need a fabric softeners?As for the cloth nappies im not planning to use the ultra purex instead i would like a recommendation from you peeps, i will also use savlon to rinse, and i know i should avoid fabric softener and bleach on cloth nappies..This would be my 1st wash.Thanks in advance
