I don't see the point of getting a baby bedding set since you can't use the bumpers and quillts. Does this make sense? Or should I buy fitted sheets, blankets and flat sheets separately? Thanks

Why is it bad to put a baby to bed with a bottle?
They say it causes " bottle mouth" also known as tooth decay, but what is the difference in giving your baby a bottle then putting them to bed and just putting them to bed with a bottle? The milk is still touching their teeth either way. Are you supposed to brush your baby's mouth after every bottle b c milk is that terrible? I'm just confused.I'm really not trying to sound ignorant or argumentative, but how does the milk pool in their mouth? How does milk go down any differently whether you're holding the baby or they're doing it themself?

Is it okay to have a newborn sleep in the same bed ss you and your partner?
I don't want the baby to be come dependent. It should have its own place and we should have ours I feel

Is this too young for a bed?
I have a fifteen month old. Right now, I'm pregnant with baby number two. We do have the means to buy a new crib, but if possible, we'd rather buy a toddler bed and use the crib for this baby. My son will be about twenty one months when the baby arrives. He can stand up, but not so much in his crib. Would it be too soon to get him a big boy bed? We won't put him in it until he's eighteen months. Is that too soon?My son's a little monkey, he climbs around and gets into stuff, but at night he's pretty good about just going to sleep.My husband and I have also stopped co sleeping. We did that when he was a baby and we stopped when he was about four months because we don't want him to be a child that can't sleep if we're not with him. We have no problem if he needs to sleep with us from time to time, but we do want him to be able to sleep independently.

What to about a child sleeping in a parents bed.?
The father and I are not together. Its a long story, but my ex's mother has joint custody of my son, while I have primary. The grandmother baby's my son, who is 5 years old, very badly. There is no discipline, rules, routine, direction....nothing. My son runs the house over there. It's really bad. The grandmother, from the day my son was born, lets my son sleep in her bed every night that he is over there. Is this healthy for the child?Just to make things clear, Primary means that I have primary possession of the child. That means he lives with me, his mother. The grandmother has joint because the grandmothers attorney sent me to the wrong court house in the wrong city and she was awarded joint custody since I wasnt there. There was nothing I could do about it because I did not have an attorney at that time and you only have 30 days to file an appeal. This did not happen due to me being a bad person or a bad mother. It happened because someone made a mistake and I could not afford an attorney at the time.

At what age is it okay for a child sleep in the parents bed?
i just had a baby. he is only 3 weeks old. i love holding him while he sleeps. most of the time he sleeps in a bassinet right next to my bed when im not holding him not asleep but watching tv or other awake activities like now on y.answers when he outgrows the basinete his crib will still be in my room. idk how ill be able to just move him to another room as a little boy. so i would like to have him sleep with me in my bed but at what age is that okay. my niece wll be 3 in 2 months and she sleeps with her mom. can they share a bed any younger than that?

Is it okay for my 2 week old baby to be using his pram as his bed for now?
At the moment I am having heating problems at my house, the bedroom where me and my baby sleep is too cold so for now I have resorted to sleeping in the living room which is more comfy...my baby is using the pram...the flat type with the hood... newborn pram and Im sleeping on the couch with the pram next to me...Is this safe for my baby to use the pram to sleep in for now until I sort things out? My baby keeps WETTING the bed this is the situation,my daughters 16 months now ,3 teeth are coming though and coping with a major mild stone walking . so not sure if i should use this as an excusebut anyway she has a bottle issue ,well i think she does, heres her routine 8 00pm bottle sleeps until 3 00, 4 00am wakes up and needs another full bottle to fall back asleepand sleeps until 7 30am the next day.if shes going though a mild stone like now sometimes she has 3 BOTTLES AT NIGHT im thinking she has a attachment with the bottle, but my problem is how do i get her to stop???she keeps wetting the bed and i have to change her once before bed and once during the night i go in to her room in the morning to see wet spots still in her bed that have soaked though her nappie what should i do really need advice
