Baby car seat/stroller buy tips????????
All right, i am expecting my first baby this summer and wants to start shopping around. What all stuff should i buy.1. Should I get a travel system kit or buy individual baby car seat and a stroller?2. What about cribs? convertible or regular crib?3. what other high priority stuffs are there in the list during first few months?

What is the best travel system for my baby? Stand and sit plus car seat?
I have a child who will be almost 2 1 2 when the new baby is born. I had a regular grace car seat and stroller when she was born but now I need something that will accommodate her and a newborn. I like the grace brand but am open to any suggestions. I need something very durable as I walk about 4 miles a day to take my oldest to preschool. Also, something easy to maneuver with a large basket under it. I would prefer to have something that can convert from a double stroller into a single stroller with a standing option for my older child and something that has a matching infant car seat to the stroller so I don't have any problems with the seat snapping or attaching to the stroller. Im due in August so I will need an infant car seat that will accommodate 3 9 month size baby in a snow suit and fit the baby in snuggly, safely and comfortably. I have been doing a lot of research but haven't come even close to what I think might work. Please give me your opinions and experiences with systems you have had or have. Oh, I also live over seas but am coming home to America in the spring. I plan to buy it then and ship it to where I live. Im looking at about $300 total for a stroller and car seat.

Combi Coccoro Convertible Car Seat sunshade?
I will like to buy this car seat for my 2nd baby due soon, I found it in Babiesrus, but I don't see any pics of it with a sunshade, so I was wondering if anybody that uses it knows if it comes with it, or it has to be purchases separate,or if it has one at all because if it does not have a sunshade may be a little uncomfortable for babies I really like it, but will like to know before I purchase it, because if it doesn't, I will buy another brand

Does the orbit baby car seat need the base ?
I have an orbit baby system ... but I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling soon, and the base would be an extra ten pounds . So if I don't need it, that'd be great . So, are you able to use it in a vehicle without the base ?

Buying first stroller/car seat/travel system?
So my first baby is due in May, and I figured it's time for me to get things started and buy our first car seat, stroller, travel system.Right now the brands I'm looking at that also fit my budget and seem to be pretty popular are Graco, Chicco and Safety 1st.So here are my questions 1 I noticed there are some car seats that are meant to hold infants up to 22 lbs and others up to 30 and even 35 lbs. Is there really a benefit to sticking to a bigger or smaller car seat, ie. the bigger car seat seems like it allows more future proofing as the baby grows, but does the smaller one which will have to be replaced sooner fit infants better?2 I was building my own travel system as it seems the largest amount of complaints for current travel systems are that they are quite bulky heavy. So I was thinking about getting one of the lightweight infant strollers and then getting a different stroller when the infant outgrows that stroller. However, I noticed the infant strollers tend not to have canopies, also do not have nice features like shocks? are those really important? Anyway, this is my first baby. My budget is fair, I can probably spend about $300 $400 on the travel system stroller car seat combo. What would you recommend? just getting a travel system or building one , should I bother with the lightweight infant car seat stroller?Thanks

How old was your baby when you started leaving the car seat in the car?
This might seem like a dumb or obvious question, but it's really something I'm wondering My daughter is 8 months old and it's really getting to be a pain in the butt carrying her carseat inside up 2 flights of stairs at our apartment, or hauling it into the store and putting it on a shopping cart. I have one of those shopping cart covers, but it's been really cold and rainy lately and if I'm going in somewhere, I don't want her to get rained on so I usually end up leaving her in the carseat and bringing her in like that.What age was your baby when you just left the carseat in the car and started carrying your baby into your house, into the car, into the store, whatever?I realize that it's called a " carseat" for a reason, but where I live, I see LOADS of mothers using their carseat to transport their baby into stores and whatnot. I was just wondering what age most of these mothers stopped doing this.

Can i leave my baby in his car seat while he's sleeping?
My son hasn't slept all day and I put him in his car seat and he's been out since. He is five weeks old and had a cold so his nose has been stopped up. Is it safe for me to leave him in his car seat to sleep?
