I have a 15 month old baby that has always slept great in his crib till 11 mos. now he screams when i put him ?
In his crib. I've tried a play pen in my room...moving him after he's asleep. And the cry it out method to a reasonalble degree. Any ideas??

Did you find that having a mobile for the crib was worth it?
I got one for my baby shower and I have a gift receipt for it so I was thinking of exchanging it for more diapers instead of having to pay for more diapers as an out of pocket expense. Is having the mobile really worth it? Thanks

9 month old refuses to sleep in crib?
Okay for the most part my son has been a pretty good sleeper. Once he gets to sleep, he normally sleeps through the night. The problem is GETTING him to sleep. On most things he is a very easy baby he only really fusses when he's hungry, needs changed, etc. But he's always been on and off about going to sleep. For a while the Sears method rocking and snuggling him till he falls asleep, then lying him down in his crib was working, but now he won't go back to sleep when he does wake up, generally right after I've laid him down in his crib. We've tried the Ferber method with disastrous results he will scream for hours until he gets sick, and checking in on him makes him scream louder. So, letting him 'cry it out' is not an option. Anyways, does anyone know how to keep him asleep after laying in his crib? He tends to sleep just fine when I'm holding him, unfortunately I don't sleep well when co sleeping, and after a few nights I'm dead on my feet. Any advice at this point would be appreciated my husband and I are exhausted

My baby keeps getting his leg caught between the crib rails?
He's 7months old. He has a crib bumper lining the inside of the crib but he just kicks at it until its gotten low, then he'll kick between the rails and gets his leg caught. It there anything else I could put in or outside the crib to keep him from doing this?

How to keep the crib area warmer when it's on an outside wall?
I am due on September 15th and right before we found out I was pregnant we rearranged the bedroom. There was no room for a crib the way it was before but now there is a perfect spot but it's on an outside wall. The walls are pretty well insulated, it's an old house 1900's and it was flipped less than 10 years ago including being completely re insulated. Our bed used to be where the crib is going and it seemed a little colder compared to now, imo. The crib will not be in front of the window though, which is where my side of the head of the bed was. Compared to that, my husband's side without the window was warmer. If that makes any sense lol. So, to avoid the baby getting cold soon after he she is born, what can I do to prevent it from being so cold? I thought of putting up a blanket or something on the wall...decorative, not tacky looking...but would that work? Opinions?Thanks

Can a 8 month old baby share a crib with his 10 month old cousin? Just for a week?
We are having family visiting, and that includes my nephew who is 2 months older than my baby. I'm trying to make all the arrangements for where everybody will sleep and I was wondering if both babies could share the crib? Is it a crazy idea? Is it a hazard? How many inches apart are the different mattress levels on a crib?
My uncle who is a very talented carpenter built a crib for my daughter as a baby shower gift. Everything is regulation size he did everything by the book, except he didn't put holes or marks in the posts for when we are ready to lower her mattress. Does anyone know how far down to lower it because she is trying to pull herself up already and my husband needs to lower it soon. Thanks
