What toys does your 9-10mo old like to play with?
I was given a voucher to buy toys for my baby. $200 so a significant amount was a xmas pres from and older relative I just thought i'd get some ideas on what I could buy I know I should have an idea myself, but I find myself looking at toys and thinking 'oh thats too young for her' or 'hmm...thats a bit too old for her'Any ideas?

I have a 4 year old boy that has been into angry birds for about 3 4 months now, i have noticed that he has a horrible attitude, yells a lot and is angry about half the time. He watches angry birds on you tube, plays there games on his itouch and plays his toys but its angry birds all day. Can angry birds be the cause of anger ????

Ugh! Anyone else's toddler not let them clean up their toys without a fuss?
I try to sing the " clean up, clean up " song, I try making it into a game about cleaning up, etc... Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. My two year old makes a big mess with his toys all over the place and I can't ever get it cleaned up without an argument because as soon as I pick something up he cries for it. The same book will sit on the floor for two days straight, but as soon as I go to pick it up, suddenly he " wants" it. As soon as I pick up his stuffed animal he wants to play with that too. I pick up all his toy cars and he cries " CARS " and drags them back out again to play with, even though he couldn't have cared less about them ten seconds ago UGH It is driving me nuts My living room is a disgrace right now and I am in the middle of trying to clean it up but as soon as I clean something up he is righ t behind me crying for that particular toy. I started to pick up his toy tools hammer, drill etc and put them away and he started bawling for them and wanted to play with them. This happens just about every time I try to clean.

What toys are appropriate for the first year?
What toys if any are appropriate for infants? Do infants really play with toys or is it more a matter of peek a boo, etc. All the " toys" that I see for babies seem to be either teething items or " clutch" toys not sure if these do anything more than just give baby something to hold . Seems like you wouldn't need a special toy for that. Any thoughts?

What do you get a 1 year old for their birthday. no toys.?

How to get a 3 yr old to stop taking all hi sisters(1yr) toys?
I have used te out consistently same spot and time every time , ive talked to him how it's not nice to take what his sis is playing with , etc.... Any ideas?Should be his not hiGuess I can't type today. Should be time out.Astair time outs work great. I've been a nanny for a long time and they have always worked. How often do you buy your kids toys?
I personally buy toys on special occasions only, birthdays, Christmas, as a big reward for something like my sons first month of staying dry the entire month at night . How often do you buy new toys?Donate give away older toys or throw out broken toys?How big is your house, your ability to store toys?Is your home cluttered by toys?A friend is constantly buying her kids toys and her house is so cluttered it could be on TLC's Hoarders. Just wondering if this habit of constantly buying kids toys is more common, or if my practice of buying on occasion is more common.

What time should my 3month old sleep? any toys for her at this age?
at what time should my 3 and a half month old daughter sleep at night??? ... she doesnt sleep before 12 or 1 after midnight and then she sleeps for 8 straight hours ... is this bad for her??? as for me i have no prob plus she seems comfortable with this routine but will she change later on and sleep like other babies at 8 or 10?? during the day she sleeps for 2 hours at about 11 and then again for 2 hours at about 3 ... is this normal?? or she should be sleeping less during the day and go to bed sooner at night? another thing is there any toys for her at this age .. i read on some of them 3 but she doesnt seems to care about them at all .. she likes it when i sit down and talk to her .. i asked the pediatrician she told me that the best thing to do for her at this age is to sit and talk and toys not before the age of 6 mnth .. but still i want to know ur opinion since most of u have already passed this stageone last thing whats wrong with plastic toys for babies??? i like to buy toys that have the CE mark on them but still ive been told that there's a material in them thaat causes cancer ... is it true?? do u know what it is called ... thx u in advance ...

Help with crib toy for a non standard crib rail?
We are not interested in a mobile that hangs above the crib. We would really like one that attaches to the rail with buttons to push and music and lights. We never thought that when we bought a more modern crib with extra wide rails that finding a crib toy would be so difficult. All of the typical crib toys attach to the rail with straps that are too short for our crib. We even bought a toy that said " fits most crib rails" thinking it would work but sadly it did not either. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the baby toy called?
This toy is my sister's ans I have always wondered what toy it was. We call it tiddlywinks but I'm not sure that's what it is. Its a bear wearing a black and white checkered hat and his pants are have checkered and red. You pull a string by his feet and it plays a song until he winds back up. I really wanna know what the actual name is. Thanks
